Maelezo ya bidhaa
GOS:Pr/GOS:Tb ni nyenzo ya kauri inayojumuisha gadolinium oxysulfide iliyoamilishwa na praseodymium(Pr) au terbium(Tb) kama vipengele vya doping.Ikiwa na sifa bora za uchomaji, hutumika sana kama nyenzo za kisisitizo katika vifaa vya kupiga picha vya matibabu kama vile skana za PET.Mchakato wa scintillation unahusisha kubadilisha fotoni au chembe chembe zenye nishati nyingi kuwa mwanga unaoonekana.
Inapochangamshwa na mionzi ya tukio, atomi za gadolinium katika GOS:Pr/GOS:Tb hutoa fotoni, ambazo hutambuliwa na vitambua picha.Utaratibu huu unaruhusu picha sahihi na kugundua vyanzo vya mionzi.GOS:Pr/GOS:Tb zinajulikana kwa kutoa mwanga mwingi, muda mfupi wa kuoza na mwanga mdogo, kuwezesha ugunduzi wa haraka na sahihi wa mionzi.Pia ina uwezo wa juu wa kusimama dhidi ya mionzi ya X-ray na mionzi ya gamma, na kuifanya iwe na ufanisi sana katika programu za kupiga picha za matibabu.Kwa ujumla, kauri ya GOS:Pr/GOS:Tb ni nyenzo muhimu ya scintillator ambayo imeleta mapinduzi katika nyanja ya picha za kimatibabu, na kusababisha utambuzi wa mapema na matibabu bora zaidi ya magonjwa.
